Proper Holomorphic Mappings in Tetrablock
The theorem showing that there are no non-trivial proper holomorphic self-mappings in the tetrablock is proved. We obtain also some general extension results for proper holomorphic mappings and we prove that the Shilov boundary is invariant under proper holomorphic mappings between some classes of domains containing among others (m1, . . . , mn)-balanced domains. It is also shown that the tetra...
متن کاملProper Holomorphic Mappings Extend Smoothly to the Boundary by Steven Bell and David Catlin
Kohn has proved that the Bergman projection associated to a smooth bounded domain D maps C°°(D) into C°°(D) when D is strictly pseudoconvex [11], and more generally, when the boundary of D satisfies certain geometric conditions [12]. Diederich and Fornaess [6] have shown that these conditions are satisfied when the boundary of D is real analytic and pseudoconvex. REMARKS. (A) Our proof of Theor...
متن کاملPROPER J-HOLOMORPHIC DISCS IN STEIN DOMAINS OF DIMENSION 2 By BERNARD COUPET, ALEXANDRE SUKHOV, and ALEXANDER TUMANOV
We prove the existence of global Bishop discs in a strictly pseudoconvex Stein domain in an almost complex manifold of complex dimension 2.
متن کاملTangencies between holomorphic maps and holomorphic laminations
We prove that the set of leaves of a holomorphic lamination of codimension one that are tangent to a germ of a holomorphic map is discrete. Let F be a holomorphic lamination of codimension one in an open set V in a complex Banach space B. In this paper, this means that V = W × C, where W is a neighborhood of the origin in some Banach space, and the leaves Lλ of the lamination are disjoint graph...
متن کاملProper Holomorphic Maps from Domains in C with Transverse Circle Action
We consider proper holomorphic mappings between smoothly bounded pseudoconvex regions in complex 2-space, where the domain is of finite type and admits a transverse circle action. The main result is that the closure of each irreducible component of the branch locus of such a map intersects the boundary of the domain in the union of finitely many orbits of the group action.
